With Dad at Stand By Me Day, Brownsville, Oregon July 2016, 30th Anniversary

I began writing about film while attending Monroe Middle School where I wrote for the school paper The Monrovian.  At that time I got into a dispute with a fellow student over the River Phoenix film Silent Tongue.  I have been pissing people off over movies ever since.  In order to escape the typical movie review, I try to incorporate useless information about my own life.

I work as a mental health therapist in Corrections and in the Emergency Department.  I also facilitate a weekly film group, Through The Looking Glass: Mental Health Through Film.  I hope this blog does not suck.
